Greetings! My name is Barry Young, and I have had the blessing to provide security training and leadership to organizations for the last two decades.  Whether it has been providing safety teaching at companies like Honda, public and private school active shooter trainings, or serving my local church as head of security my heartbeat is to protect the innocent.

  • Since 1999 there have been over 1,700 violent incidents at churches (according to fbsn.com).

  • Last year we had 656 mass shootings (according to gunviolencearchive.org).

  • Yearly we average over 20 public school active shooter events (according to washingtonpost.com).

  • Every 40 seconds someone dies by suicide (according to press.un.org).

Today more than ever safety and security are a top priority.  Consider these very sad facts:

When seconds count, the police can be minutes away!  YOU HAVE TO BECOME YOUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER.  Our goal at Serving Watchmen is to provide affordable, practical, and real-world safety techniques to you and your church/organization.  We do this through:

  • Schools, Organizations, and Church Safety Training

  • De-Escalation Training

  • Active Shooter Training

  • Suicide Prevention Training

  • Firearms Training (Upon Request)
